Exciting News To Share

When I began blogging a few years ago, I never dreamed that my little recipe blog would develop into the interactive and supportive community it has become today.

This website was originally intended to be my own personal recipe resource (a way to avoid storing hard-copies of my favorite recipes when we moved into a teeny-tiny Los Angeles apartment), but it also became an easy way to share healthy recipe ideas with my long-distance friends and family. Over the years, the number of friends and family has grown, and now includes all of you reading here today!

Which is why I’m so excited to share my news with you all, my virtual family.

I’m writing a cookbook!

I spoke with several publishers last year, and finally found the perfect home for my cookbook at Ten Speed Press, a division of Random House. It will feature loads of all-natural recipes that are family-friendly and easy to incorporate into an overall healthy lifestyle.

You may have noticed that I’ve posted a few pictures of recipes over the past few months, which I haven’t been able to share with you quite yet. It’s terribly difficult to keep them to myself, but I’m saving half of the recipes I develop for my book, and the other half for the blog.

Needless to say, things have been pretty busy over here!

SONY DSCWhile I finish writing the manuscript, I’d love to hear from YOU in the meantime. What recipes would you like to see in a healthy cookbook? Any other suggestions you’d like to share?

I look forward to sharing more of this journey with you as it progresses!

Congrats!!!! I will Definetly be purchasing your book, I tell all my friends and family about your website! I’d love to see some healthy snack recipes and particularly lunch recipes that don’t require fridge storage. I also love to know the health benefits of each recipe. This is so well deserved for you!!!!!

  • Fit n Fifty

Megan – so happy to hear you are embarking on this adventure. I would really like to see recipes that are quick and easy to prepare. (My definition of easy is not HAVING to use a lot of kitchen appliances – I just don’t own them)and ingredients that are easily accessible and common kitchen staples. (especially during a midwest winter)and low sodium. Best of luck to you!

  • Michelle

This is awesome news! You really do have some of the best recipes out there and I am constantly letting my friends and family know about your blog. Make sure to include your almond cookies, they are my personal favorites to make.

  • Congrats! I’ve been reading your blog for years and have made lots and lots of your recipes. Sort of related question: After your baby was born, did you decide to just do health coaching/blogging/writing/cook book writing, etc, and leave your full time job? Just curious (I’m pregnant with my first and due in May, and just trying to figure it all out!)

  • You deserve it!! Can’t wait for it, Megan!

  • Kristin

  • VanillaMacaroon

    Hi Megan!
I am so happy for you, this is great news! I love your website, it’s a very precious source of information for me and it’s also very user-friendly, which I think unconsciously is the reason why I keep coming back to your blog and never lose interest. If you ask me, I would love your cookbook to reflect that. For example, I’d love a cookbook that stays on the right page when you lay it on the counter to cook or use a bookholder. I find most cookbooks nowadays look more like coffee table books. I fall for their look at the store but gradually lose interest (even though I love the content!) because I do not find them practical. Recipe-wise, I’d love a clear indication of what food category each recipe falls into and whether they could be frozen or not (your freezer-meal section is such a life-saver for me!!). And since I’m still new to food combining, I would love a cookbook that’s organized in a way that makes it easy for me to quickly prepare a three-course meal respecting food-combining principles on a week-night :) More grain-free recipes would be awesome, too :) And a section of “copy-cat meals” for each type of cuisine (Asian, Italian, Indian, Mediterranean, etc.) would be a great resource when my hubby and I are tempted to order take-out!
Thank you so much for allowing us to make suggestions :) I can’t wait to see the final result! Cheers :)

  • Erica

Congratulations! I am a student of IIN. Happy to see your success!
I honestly don’t buy or use recipe books unless there are pictures. I need that visual motivation! Also, fewer ingredients and suggestions for alternatives if I don’t have something on hand.
    Good luck to you!

  • Jillian

SO excited about this!! I’d love to see LOTS of healthy easy raw kale salads and other yummy salads and dishes that keep well for a few days :). Good luck!! Can’t wait!!

  • yonderkat

I love your site and tell everyone about it all the time. It makes me feel smart and informed on conscious eating : ) It has become my go-to for every day inspiration. I love the what-i-ate-wednesday. you have a way of making me realize how easy it really is to make healthy things, just a matter of getting in habit. I agree with the suggestions to keep it well organized & more practical for planning actual meals throughout the day/week, rather than just a pretty book (although your photos are always amazing so you have to keep some in there). you might need to write more than one book! eventually… what, i cannot believe you do all this and have a day job. amazing!

  • Maureen

This is wonderful news. Your cauliflower pizza crust was my first introduction to your site over a year ago and I’ve been back most days ever since. I’d like to see a good share of the recipes devoted to mains (soups, salads, stews, etc.). Congratulations on a well-deserved opportunity.

  • Rebekah

Wonderful and exciting news! I have been wondering when this would happen. I’m looking forward to bringing more of you in to my kitchen. :) Congratulations!

  • Cortney

Congratulations!!! So excited for you! I will definitely be a supporter!! :)

  • Teresa

I’m so happy for you! Plus, I’m excited for the future birthday/Christmas gifts I’ll be able to give people! Please include your detox blonde macaroons, paleo chocolate chip cookies and chocolate coconut ice cream. Oh, we also loved the flourless peanut butter cookies with the TJ’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups in them. Can’t wait to see your book!

  • Lisa

  • Your website is honestly one of my very favorites – you have a way of motivating me to eat right. I like all your recipes, and your style of eating. I was hoping you’d do a cookbook sometime! That is exciting.

  • brianna latham

  • Sarah

that’s great news! i will definitely buy your cookbook! it will save me from adding to my “detoxinista recipes” printout collection :)

  • Jane

Congrats! I love your website and recipes.

  • Julie H.

Megan! I’m really excited for you. I would like to see some recipes that are interchangeable with ingredients. Make suggestions or side notes that give variations. For example, swap zucchini noodles for rutabaga noodles, spaghetti squash noodles, etc. Swap real meat for “mushroom meat”. Include fun, optional toppings like your “Parmesan cheese”, “sweet potato cheese”, cauliflower Alfredo. The best of luck! And congrats!

  • Andrea

Yay!! So happy for you!! Megan you coached me a few years back for a few months and we met at Juicy Ladies for a juice. I’ve been meaning to contact you to let you know how much I still love your recipes :) It is awesome to have have such clean, easy recipes to have for my home and being that I have 3 kiddos with my youngest being 10 months I don’t have ANY time in the kitchen. I think you have a bright future in the kitchen and next up you should have your own cooking show! Congrats on your beautiful baby boy, they are little treasures :) All the best to you and hope we can connect again!

    Andrea :)

Congratulations!!!! I’m so glad that this is happening for you! You deserve it and the public deserves to read it! I have written down your website for no less than 50 people this past year and happy that I can now refer them to a book! :-). I’m happy to be on a short list of people who are available to help if you need any throughout the process!!

  • Tracy

Hooray! I would like to see meals that can be frozen or made ahead of time and put together quickly. As 2 working parents with a 3 year old, it is difficult to get dinner on the table at a decent time!

  • So exciting!!! I would love to buy your cookbook! You have such fantastic desert recipes – and I love that you talk about eating properly combined meals. I guess I would just want to see more of the same in your cookbook! :)

  • Meghan

Congrats to you, and well deserved! I use your website all the time, I love your recipes. I knew it was only a matter of time until you got a cookbook. I look forward to buying it! In addition to the recipes, I really love all of your product/gadget recommendations.

  • Carolyn

I’ve been following your blog for a couple of years now and am very excited for you to come out with a cookbook. Congratulations and can’t wait to see the finished product!

  • Congratulations! Hope it turns out to be everything you want it to be, and that the company that publishes is will ship to Norway!

  • Krista

It’s about time! Every time I cook something tasty my fiance asks me if I got it from you ( the answer is always yes) and then he asks me why you don’t have a cookbook :)

We would LOVE more vegan gluten free recipes – dinners especially.

Congratulations! Can’t wait to buy your book!

  • Oh congratulations, Megan! That’s wonderful! I know it will be lovely. I’d love to see lots of vegan recipes and maybe a few variations of your delicious mac and cheese. I make a version of the sweet potato one all the time, it’s my favorite!!

  • Claire

Hi Meaghan: I am very happy to hear this, it will be wonderful. I love your website and recipes, and just got a Vitamix for Christmas. So I was planning on asking you for more Vitamix recipes. Best Wishes!!

  • Julie

Congratulations! I’m a fellow student of Natalia’s and while I love the principles of clean eating, I easily slip into a total rut of the same recipes. Your site is my go-to source for inspiration. You truly have a gift. Looking forward to the book! Happy New Year.

    • Julie

After reading through the other comments, I also wanted to let you know that it’s hugely inspiring you’ve created this book along with a full-time job and new baby. Go girl!

  • Bea

Congratulations Megan! I have meant to write you for a long time. I am not exaggerating when I say I use your recipes almost every day. They are clear, come out as expected, don’t require too many ingredients and time and they taste great! You make it possible for me to feed my family yummy healthy home-cooked meals every day. I always enjoyed cooking but now I can provide my guests and family with healthy tasty alternatives to traditional dishes, this is so rewarding! I follow your advice on everything from nutrition, shampoo to kitchenware :) We had a party with over 100 people; I made large dishes of your delicious blueberry crumble…So many of my friends commented on how delicious it was! I visited one of them recently and he specifically asked: bring your crumble!
My recommendation for your cookbook is keep it accessible to everyone. As you say it so well: healthy living is easier than you think! If my husband can eat beet brownies, everybody should try them! I will be buying your book by the dozen to give as a gift!

  • Jayne

Yay! I will buy you’re cook book for me and everyone I know. I would like to quick recipes, or for the recipes that do have more steps, some tips for preparing parts to recipes ahead of time.

Also, I would really LOVE sample grocery lists!

I really appreciate you and what you do.

  • eileen

Congratulations! Your site is my go-to because I know it is made with ingredients I can eat and actually tastes amazing. Im a CNC and deal with many clients with food intolerances so I always refer my clients to your site for ideas, so def will be referring your book too!

Please continue with sauces, dressings and desserts that are grain free and sweetened with stevia. It is so rare to find baking recipes with stevia ( I can’t tolerate any sugar, even dates or honey, etc.) I love that even if you include those you usually include a stevia option. Would also love a dairy/goat milk free recipe for ranch dressing. This is one that is hard to come by.

  • So exciting! I love all the recipes on your blog, so I can’t wait for this to come out :)

  • I would LOVE to see some properly combined granola bar recipes-bars that I can easily transport and eat with no mess!

  • Ruth

Congratulations! I was excited to read this. I suggest the cinnamon spice muffins. They are a staple at my house and many friends and family that I have shard your site with. I looked forward to see what you have been saving for the book.

  • Congrats! This is great news. I love everything about your site and your recipes and I can’t wait for more!

  • Katie

Love your blog and when I saw the “good news” at the top I was hoping it was a cookbook! :) I’d love to see more share-able dessert recipe that can sit out for a while at a friends house. I love all your raw dessert recipes but they’re not very potluck style dinner friendly.

  • Laura Arrington

This is exciting news! I just want to thank you so very much~ we LOVE your recipes. Two that have made it into our dairy free favorites are the avocado chocolate popsicles and the dairy free queso! THANK YOU!

  • Aimee

Congrats! Very exciting. I love the way your recipes are so simple, quick and do not require a ton of ingredients or fancy prep work. I have two very little kids and need fast and healthy (but not boring) so I have made so many of your DELICIOUS recipes! I would love to see more of your dinner recipes, freezer meals, dips and salad dressings. Also, I really enjoy when you do different cuisines “made healthy” (such as asian, Indian, etc). Thank you!

  • Chelseabelle

This made my day, I just squealed! Since the day I started reading your blog and trying out your recipes I hoped that one day you would come out with a cookbook. I will be first in line to purchase it! I love dairy free recipes because I discovered within the last few years that I am lactose intolerant. I also love asian and thai food. Can not wait to see what delicious recipes you come up with for the book. Congrats!

  • Susan

More raw would be great. Congrats!!

  • Susan

Dips and salad dressings would be great, too.

  • Rebecca

    Vegan friendly and gluten free!

  • Brianna

Congratulations! That is such an accomplishment! I was just thinking the other day, while cooking up you pumpkin sage spaghetti squash recipe, that you should totally write a cookbook! i am definitely going to be buying a copy, hopefully it’s available on kindle!!! i would really love to see lots of family friendly main meal idea recipes as i have my picky husband, daughter and son to feed! and also more salad dressing recipes!

  • Asli

    Hi Megan,
Congratulations, I will be buying the book definitely. I love all the recipes in your blog.
    My suggestions are:
-Europe friendly (since I am living in the Netherlands)
-Menus for busy work days and menus for a detox week and menus for parties
-Grain free, dairy free and vegetarian options
-Macros for each meal (calories, proteins, carbs and fat numbers)
-Definitely a section about food combining and allergies.
-Recipes for expecting moms and recipes for postpartum
-Information on every recipe about how long can it stay in the fridge, how long can it stay in the freezer
-Tips on how to cook in large amounts to freeze for later use.
-And the tools you use for the recipes.

I am looking forward to your book!!

  • Congratulations! So nice to hear good news first thing in the morning.

  • Christine

Congratulations!! But not to surprised, what you do is amazing! I would think that easy lunch recipes would be good, for me anyway. Like soups and stuff like that. Other than that maybe some raw?

    Can’t wait!! :)

  • asia

Congratulations! Looking forward to purchase your book. You have inspired me to eat healthy and love your recipes that I have tried so far. I just recently enrolled in IIN.

My suggestions for your book are:

Keep them internationally friendly (i.e what u can substitute for a particular ingredient and what kind of blender to use if one doesn’t have vitamix).

Grain free recipe section or marked clearly.

    Colored pictures

    Available internationally.

Thank you for all the great recipes and good luck.

  • Rachel

Brilliant! Will you be putting some of the recipes that are already on your website into the book? I have so many favourites but sometimes I find your older recipes difficult to find when I go looking for something specific – it’d be great to have them in a book!

  • Brienne

YAY!!! Ever since I found your blog about a year ago I have always thought that you should have a cookbook! I will definitely be purchasing your book when it comes out! Congrats! I have no idea how you do it all: Full time job, new baby, blog, recipe testing and now book author! May God Bless you and your family! You are a blessing to so many of us trying to live healthy lives.

  • June

Congratulations! Simple, grain free vegan or vegan alternatives would be my choice. Keep them simple and easy.

  • Angie

Fantastic news! That’s ah-some!!! I love your recipes, they are so easy to make and super delicious!

  • Congratulations! I was hoping that that would be the news when I saw the subject line!

  • how exciting – congrats! I would love to see a good mix of recipes (entrees, desserts, apps, etc) and then maybe a holiday menu and a daily menu plan? since you do WIAW. That would be neat!

  • Joan

Congratulations … how exciting where dreams can take you !!! In your new cookbook, I’d love to see make-ahead recipes. With busy schedules, I try to cook enough on Sundays and Wednesdays that I can eat well the other days without a lot of prep. So, please include recipes that freeze/thaw well or those that can ‘hold’ for a few days. Thanks and good luck !!!

  • Lili

Yeah! Thrilled to hear about your new book, can’t wait for it.

  • Rebecca Cook

So proud of you. You really can juggle a lot on your plate.

  • Jilly

    Congratulations Megan!
I really look forward to reading your posts & have tried many of your recipes since becoming gluten free & they’re now firm favourites.
So glad that you’re writing a book & Good Luck with it.
(Love to be a beta tester!) xx

  • Sheena

I can’t wait to buy it!!

  • Congratulations – love your recipes!

  • suman

congratulations!!!! i feel like you are part of my family, since i am on your site multiple times a day and use so many of your recipes…..does it sound funny to say that i am so proud of you? :) the only suggestion i would have is to stay true to your blog and your philosophies while writing your book, they are so on-point and resonate so well with your readers. you make eating healthy feel easy, comfortable, achievable, and delicious! keep that theme going through your book, and i think you will have a definitely best seller!

i would also love to see easy, savory grain free/dairy free/clean snacks. there are a plethora of recipes out there for gluten free/grain free/ dairy free desserts and sweets, but i am a sucker for something salty or crunchy!!! ;)

wishing you nothing but the very best during this exciting time….when do we get to pre-order?!?!?

    suman :)

  • Kathleen Schell

FANTASTIC NEWS!! I can’t wait for your cook book to be published. Everything that I have made from your website has been wonderful and easy to make with ingredients I have on hand. I was hooked after the cauliflower crusted pizza came out perfectly after following the images in your step by step photo’s. You have helped my family eat a healthy and delicious diet. Lately, we have been munching our way through your Christmas cookies. Thank you

  • Amy

Such exciting news! Congratulations! More smoothie recipes would be wonderful!

  • Congrats! Very exciting news :-) Been reading your blog and pinning recipes for a while but have never commented — I had to today!

If you need recipe testers along the way, I’m interested! I’ve tested for a couple of folks before.

  • Agnieszka

Congratulations! I have used many of your recipes and love all of them. My daugther has milk, wheat, egg and tree nut allergies (excluding almond). I would love to see a recipe for wheat, milk and egg-free bread, it would be great if it was yeast based. I would also like recipes for dishes containing vegetables that appeal to children. I would like my 4 and 2 year old to eat more vegetables.
    Thank you

  • nancy_p

Congratulations Megan! I have enjoyed preparing many of your recipes and look forward to the publishing of your cookbook. I would love to see a section with Gluten Free recipes.

  • Noelle

Do you know when the cookbook will be available for purchase?

  • Tracy

Great News. Looking forward to your cookbook. I would like to see easy portable lunch recipes. Also food prep that can help make 3-4 lunches at once for the week.

    Thank you,

  • Susan

Congratulations! Can’t wait to buy it. I love your site & your recipes b/c they are wholesome, easy to prepare, and they don’t contain a lot of weird ingredients. If you could do a spiral bound cookbook so it lays flat on the counter, that would be great! And lots of pictures! I’d love to see a lot of kid-friendly meal & snack ideas (especially snacks you can send to school w/them) and easy 30min or less dinners. Freezer meals are wonderful. Healthy smoothies (LOVE your cherry chocolate one). Rules as to how to properly combine. Have fun with it!

  • TiaMaria

Congratulations! I have been following your website for about a year and I love your recipes! My favourites are the paleo chocolate chip cookies and almond milk recipes (among many!) It would be great to have a collection of your recipes that I could turn to in my kitchen for healthy cooking ideas! One request: please can your book be made available for purchase/delivery in the UK? :)

  • Megan

Wow, congratulations!!Although I am a fairly new reader (having just discovered your blog this past fall), I am truly thankful for your talent because of the way that it has helped me. For years I struggled with a sensitive stomach, and having just graduated as a student athlete, it became very difficult trying to perform at my peak when my stomach was never feeling well. Once I got into college, I made some serious changes to my diet, but nothing has made me feel more energized, satisfied, and overall healthy than eating properly combined thanks to you. My new husband (a big, huggable ex O-lineman) has finally been pleased by every single one of your recipes that I’ve made for him. Needless to say, your dedication to sharing not only delicious recipes but the amazing gift of life has been such a blessing to our household. I am even more excited now that we have a cookbook to look forward to!! Congratulations once again and may the Lord bless you on this exciting new adventure!

  • Suztats

    Yay!!! Congrats!

  • Anne

Since you asked…I’d like to see easy healthy main dishes that don’t use exotic, hard to find ingredients. I tried several sweet recipes and a couple main dish recipes and loved them! In a cookbook, I’d like to see more meal recipes. Keep up the good work! Good luck with your new venture.

  • Patty

Passing along a big ‘hurray’ to you along with everybody else….it’ll be a big seller!!

The biggest need for me are PICS! If it looks appealing, I’ll buy it and try it! Also, the ease of the book laying flat when using it. Less food particles transferred to pages.

    All the best to you!

  • kelly

Yay! I would love to see quick after work recipes. Its always 5:30 and I have 30 minutes to get dinner ready for a picky wheat-free 4 year old….not much comes to mind and dinner gets boring ;).

  • Liz

My favorite of your recipes, by far, are the vegan, grain-free ones, so I’d request that you include lots of those. :)

Congratulations on the book! What a CRAZY time this must be for you! But SO worth it, right? :)

  • Congratulations Megan-Can’t Wait to Buy and Read Your Book!

  • Jennifer Taylor

CONGRATS! I can’t wait to see this book!

  • Corinne

Congrats! So well deserved! What sets you apart from everyone else, in my opinion, is that your recipes are truly easy and still delicious. Plus you have something for everyone.. I am doing an elimination diet at the moment and there are still recipes that I can use. You rock!

  • Maria

Congrats! I love your dessert recipes the most, so I am partial to those. But I’d also love to see quick and easy dinners that are family friendly and don’t require too many ingredients.

  • Karel

Will definitely buy at least one copy. PLEASE include calorie counts. That is what matters most to me, saving me the time and effort to add up all the ingredients and divide by number of servings. Many cookbooks either don’t include calorie count or don’t say how many servings/how much constitutes a serving, so I have trouble fitting recipes into my diet plan. Most important for soups, stews, and other recipes combining many ingredients, especially if there is a lot of liquid.

Thank you for your blog and your care to develop and share your great recipes.

  • Jennifer

Megan, I am so excited for you – and for the world! I know what EVERYONE on my Christmas list will be getting next year :) Do you have an estimated release date yet? Can’t wait to get my copy. CONGRATS!!!

  • David

YES AWESOME!! im so excited!! i love ur recipes!! they have changed the way i live my life in terms of my diet and have made it much less boring.

  • So cool! How do you find the time and energy??? You are Wonder Woman! There are tons of great suggestions here already so I just want to add please make a kindle version that is formatted properly and do whatever it takes to keep the entire recipe on one page. I hate recipe books where a part of a recipe falls on the next page (esp. a page turn!!). Noting if the recipe is properly combined, candida friendly, freezer friendly, make ahead, etc, would be great too – perhaps have a chart in the book appendix noting which recipe has which of those properties would be a helpful item. You could also put an icon on the recipe page as well noting those properties.

  • Christine

Congratulations! I’m pretty new to your blog too but love it. As you already have plenty of suggestions my question is, do you need a recipe tester? :)
Thanks for all your work in the kitchen!

  • Yoona

This is wonderful news! I would love to see some easy warm soup recipes and lots of dinner food in general.

Thank you and I can’t wait for the book!

  • Rebekah

I would love to see more kid oriented main and side dishes. I just recently adopted a healthier lifestyle and want to get my kids eating better too. They will always try a dessert recipe but the others are a bit harder to convince them to try. Will this be available in eBook also? Can’t wait!

  • Congrats! Sign me up for a copy when it comes out! I think the vegan mac and cheese and vegan stuff!! It would be great if you could organize a juice cleanse in part of the book and have recipes organized as snacks, breakfast, lunch, Dinner, dessert, juices and smoothies, etc!! I think it will be amazing! I’ll definitely buy it!

Thank You so much for sharing amazing recipes!!

  • WOW! That sure is exciting. What a dream come true! Did you return to work full-time after the birth of your son? I’m wondering how you have time for it all! I’ve always loved your blog and I’m so impressed by how much it’s grown in the past few years. You’re an inspiration!

  • Congratulations! It’s wonderful seeing fellow bloggers succeed!

  • Amanda S

Yay!! Congrats, Megan! I’m going through IIN right now and spend a TON of time in my kitchen. I adore all of your recipes and reference your site almost daily. I was just thinking to myself earlier how I’d like to add ‘publish an e-cookbook’ to my list of goals over the next year or two. Love that I came home to this post on your blog. Thanks for continuing to be an awesome source of motivation! Looking forward to your cookbook and all of the recipes to come :)

  • Hi Magan,

It has been a while i had been following your site and got inspired to do many things. I made couple of things so far and i look forward to make more. I am so so so excited to hear this news because i honestly want to have all your recipes in a book for an easy access. However, i wish you would still share your recipes with us all here.

I want to see a lot of types of bread making recipes and simple deserts and simple food that we can make easily. Some rice and fish recipes as well. Could you look into indian and bengali (bangladeshi) foods and make some healthy recipes based on their stable foods please. I am a bengali.

Kindly share for free. I am sure many people will buy your book even if you share all your recipes here for free because we WANT TO have the book for easy and quick access and to have it in our library.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Karen

I love the deserts. What I really want is wheat and allergy friendly ideas for meals the whole family would love. I want to add more vegetables into dishes without it always having to be salads. Kid and husband friendly ideas. i.e. vegetable sausages, more sauce recipes, and I looove healthy casserole ideas.

  • Michele

So happy for you and can’t wait for the cookbook to come out!! Congratulations!

  • Congrats Megan! So happy for you, and will definitely be buying your book!

  • Cel

Yay! 2014 starts out width a bang! I’d love to see more raw vegan recipes, dips, dressings :)

  • Congrats!!! That is so unbelievably exciting for you!

  • Isabella

I have said to my husband several times “I wish the detoxinista had a cookbook!” We always look to your site for clean eating recipes. You are so creative! So excited for you and cannot wait for it to be released!

  • Lilja

    awesome news :D congratulations!
My fav recipes are: cauliflower pizza crust, double chocolate cookies, peanutbutter cookies, cauliflower fried rice, the fudge recipe and the gluten free pancakes !
I’m definitely gonna be ordering one to ship to iceland!
    Can’t wait, Good luck.
    Best wishes from rvk

  • Brenda

I’m so happy to hear your making a cookbook. Your so inspiring to me.
I’d love to see a lot of snack recipes that are nut free.

  • Cindy S.

Oh! What great news! I was hoping to hear you say that! Can’t wait for the cookbook – release date before Christmas so we can give as gifts??? hint, hint

I’d say keep doing what you are doing – it’s your style & you are doing a great great, did I say great?, job!!! I love the variety of your recipes and the ease of them. I love the pictures & step-by-steps you include. I prefer that you use dates or less sugar in a recipe rather than stevia. With these being such healthy alteratives, is there really a need for calorie count? Love that the majority are dairy-free recipes as my husband can’t have milk/cheese. Would love more veggie recipes or main dish. That green bean casserole is such a wonderful recipe! All the wonderful healthy ingredients. Love the curry vegetable dish, the Japanese dressing is awesome, love the fudgsicles & raw cheesecake. Again, the variety is awesome!! Love it when you include something simple like “keep in fridge or freezer until use or it’ll melt”. What about a Dairy-free recipe for Tiramisu???? I’ve heard there’s one out there just haven’t tracked it down. Thanks for all you do for this — it’s much appreciated! Looking forward to your cookbook as my husband & I absolutely love your blog. Haven’t tried a recipe yet that we haven’t liked. All the best to your endeavor.

  • Majawithaj75

Awesome!!! I already know I will be buying it! :-)

  • Congratulations Megan – I will be buying copies for all my friends! X

  • Hila

Congrats! I love all your recipes. I would like to recipes for picky kids!

  • Stephanie

That’s very exciting! I love getting your updates in my inbox so a cookbook is icing on the cake :) I’d love to see some recipes with 6 or 7 ingredients; not a ton that you can make easily and quickly.

  • Mandi

after reading all the comments, i’d say the suggestions have been covered. i did want to tell you, you are amazing! congratulations on your upcoming cookbook. i will be buying it. i love everything i’ve made of yours so far. my husband asked me to make the easy caramel turtles as a christmas treat this year, his words were “make so many that i can eat them until i’m sick”. i also made your blondies using almond butter for a wedding open house & they were a huge hit. thank you for putting in so much time & effort to this blog for all of us, especially with a husband, baby & day job to manage. SUPER WOMAN

  • Erin

Congrats! This is a big ask, but if you any recipes that are vegan, gluten-free and sweetened exclusively would fruit (fresh or dried) would be amazing.

  • Oh wow!! I’ll bet you ARE super busy! I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON THIS COOKBOOK!!! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying your blog ever since I started eating a Candida diet 8 months ago. I fell in love instantly with my first bite of Almond Butter Freezer Fudge! Keep up the great work – it’s much appreciated by many! :)

  • Krisi

Whoot Whoot! Congrats on the book deal! Your recipes are amazing and, quite frankly, have been a life saver for me! I was diagnosed with multiple food allergies a few years ago and have been obsessed with “health-a-fying” recipes since. You MUST include the carrot ginger sauce and the grain free pumpkin bars! Those are two of the best!!! Thanks for all you do- you are truly an inspiration!

  • I would love to see some recipes that incorporate juice pulp! I’ll have to search your blog too to see if I can find any. Congrats on the book deal!!

  • Ali

So excited for you !!!! Def want your cookbook!!! Wondering do you have the recipe for the brownies posted on this page?!! Thank you!!!

  • Congratulations Megan!! I know there are a few bigger bloggers coming out with books right now, but I am most excited to see that you will have one! :-) I would love to see a section with some easy snacks (preferably nut-free), as I’m always looking for options for my daughters. Good luck!

  • AbiKale

Please include a Shake & Smoothie chapter in your cookbook. We love the Chocolate Coconut Milkshake. Also your peanut butter cups and chocolate donuts are fabulous. Congratulations!!!

  • anna

you posted this great news on my birthday – so thats a present to me this year – thank you x

  • Sarah

I only found your website this week, and have been on it ever since! I love it. I will buy your book regardless, but would it be too barbaric of me to suggest a few recipes with meat? :/

I also think it’d be neat to have some info in there like you do under the “Healthy Tips” section of your blog.

It’s very kind, what you do with this blog.

  • Sarah

And also some substitute recipes for breads, maybe? For instance, the cauliflower pizza crust is ingenious!

Thanks for all you do. I’ve already benefited greatly over just a few days!

  • Erin

Congratulations! I absolutely love your blog. Every recipe I have made turns out fabulous. I hope you include some of your favorites from the blog (like the almond butter freezer fudge!). It would be nice to have a print copy of all of those recipes in addition to new ones. Blessings!

  • Pamela

Congratulations! I look forward to its release.

  • Mary B.

I’m so excited and will buy the book, for sure!
Every recipe of yours have been awesome.
I eat a plant-based diet only (vegan) so would love
those kind of recipes or at least ones that can sub with vegan ingredients.
Best of luck to you and thanks so much for your wonderful website. :)

  • AMuk

So exciting. I also eat a plant-based vegan diet. I find that most vegan cookbooks unfortunately do not include natural sugar substitutes in their desert recipes. I would like to discover creative, healthy ways to add that sweet factor. (I am a fan of using maple syrup, brown rice syrup, coconut nectar, and liquid stevia, like you). I think you have done amazing things with sweet potatoes alone! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

  • Babs

Really, I love EVERYTHING you do, I wanted to say that! :) I am actually fonder of the sweet treats. Too bad some ingredients are hard to find here in Germany (I’m a Brazilian living near Hamburg & new in the raw food thing). Whatever the cookcbook is, you got a customer already :)

  • Raquel

Congratulations!!! I have not tried anything yet that I dislike, but what I like the most is that your recipes don’t call for many ingredients like everyone else and yet they’re beyond delicious and healthy. I would love to see them all in your book, but I think the raw cheesecake it’s a bomb!!! I have made it several times and it really doesn’t last long in my house and the cookies, don’t even go there :) I wish you the best on your new project!!

  • Rose Whitt

So exciting! Cannot wait!! I have printed out almost your entire blog of recipes and they are sitting on my kitchen counter in sections LOL.

  • Erica

Yay congratulations I’m so happy for you and can’t wait for the cookbook!!!

  • Miss Jem

Congratulations Megan! That is exciting news!

I would really appreciate recipes that are protein-and nourishing/healing to the body but also flavorful and easy. I have a hard time figuring out quick and easy meals without getting overwhelmed. And because I am seeking to heal my body quick, stress-free, and nutritious meals are very important.

Also, the format you use with your recipes on the blog is concise (i.e. not overwhelming)and clear so I would really like to see something similar in your cookbook.
    Thanks :) Miss Jem

  • Carla

Can’t wait!!! Your recipes are all amazing. Congratulations!

  • Nancy

Congrats! When will it be available?

    • Megan

It will hit stores next year, but should be available for pre-order by the end of this year. I’ll be sure to post more details when I know for sure!
