The recipes listed below are all low-sugar and grain-free, making them safe for the Detox 4 Women Candida cleansing program. Because there are many different approaches to Candida cleansing, please use your best judgement when selecting recipes that are appropriate for you.

    Megan,
    I am planning to try a Candida cleanse beginning with 3 day- week juice/green smoothie fast (in Vitamix and/or a Jack Lalane power juicer) for a few days (just after I get over the sugar from the holidays…lol). Do you have any recipes you like for green smoothies /juices minus the fruit?? I love all of your recipes that I’ve tried so far, so I figured you would be a great person to ask! Thanks for this wonderful site!! It’s so hard to find healthy recipes that actually taste great, thank you so much!!

    I want to thank you for these fantastic recipes. I am 10 days in to the Candida diet my doctor put me on. I was feeling so limited by my food choices….that alone was making me irritable. This website has opened my eyes to the fact that this doesn’t have to be torturous:) It makes me excited to take on these new healthy-eating habits.

    Do you actually know what the Candida diet is? All of your recipes have ingredients that you SHOULDN’T be eating if you are a sufferer of Candida.Dairy, chocolate, sugars, grains etc are big no no’s.

      As I’ve noted at the very top of this page, the recipes in this section are customized for the “Detox 4 Women” protocol, which allows for goat dairy and small amounts of dark chocolate, but no grains.

      Since there are MANY contradictory approaches to Candida cleansing, some of which include grains and some that don’t, I can only share recipes for the approach that I’ve tried myself.

      Goat cheese has capriylic acid. You can have carob and cocoa. After your month cleanse you can have good carbs, brown rice, sweet potatoes, multi grain bread, maple syrup is a natural sugar. From what my phd nutritionist says your body knows the difference and metabolizes differently..First month no carbs and sugar goat cheese is fine.. Slowly, introduce the good carbs! I did beat candida eating good carbs fresh veggies good meat!

  • Megan, some of the ingredients you use are not entirely candida-diet friendly. Carrots are a serious no-no, and anything with vinegar in it (except raw apple-cider vinegar) is dangerous. Any winter squash (any squash with a hard outer skin/shell) is dangerous, too, as the sugar content is too high.

    My candida went systemic years ago, so it’s in my blood and throughout my system. I went on a vigilant candida diet nearly two months ago, and am being really strict with myself, but it’s working.

    I’m glad I found your website and will try many of your recipes. On the dishes where you use Tamari (which is okay), try Coconut Aminos instead. Anything coconut contains three amino acids that destroy candida — Capric acid, Caprilic acid, and Lauric acid. If I’m not careful, I can send myself into candida die-off symptoms just by eating too many things made with coconut-something. The coconut aminos are available from Coconut Secret, along with coconut vinegar, coconut flour, and other yummy and helpful ingredients.

    I hope this is helpful to your readers who may be dealing with candida that’s gone systemic — you CAN get rid of it, but it takes determination and creativity. Use Megan’s website for inspiration, but do watch the ingredients. Just don’t let yourself get bored — dietary boredom is deadly. Good luck and thanks!

      As I mentioned at the top of this page, these recipes are developed specifically for Natalia Rose’s approach to fighting candida. Since there are SO MANY contradicting theories on how to battle candida, many of which do work, I can’t possibly cater to all candida plans. However, once a person has committed to an approach, whether it’s this one or another one, hopefully these recipes can prove inspiring and can be modified accordingly.

    Hi there! Thank you so much for the yummy recipes. I was currently diagnosed with systemic candida a month ago-almond with Lyme disease and other infections. I’ve been bed ridden for a year now. I’m currently ige allergic to almost all vegetables and sensitive to the rest. I only eat about seven different foods right now but am still sick every day and am just losing it. I’ve been on the candida diet for a week now and feel a tiny different I think. I wasn’t sure how anyone felt about food sensitivities. For instance I’m sensitive to coconut, Brussels sprouts, certain fish etc and want to add them into my diet slowly. Is this possible or will it make me feel worse? I’m just so limited and keep losing weight it’s a bit scary. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!

    As a candida patient who is on a super-strict yeast cleanse (no vinegar, no grain, no fruit for two weeks, no diary, etc.) I have to say:

    THANK YOU for the avocado smoothie recipe!!!

    I’m allergic to eggs and whey, and have been losing weight as a result of my health issues (not good, since I’m underweight, already). Hopefully, between your avocado shakes and the hazelnut muffins I already make (with xylitol, not sugar, natch) I’ll be able to stave off the starvation!

    I didn’t know fruits were bad for you with candida until my DR told me. This is the program he recommended, and it got rid of my y infection in 2 days.

    Hi! I think my husband has a yeast problem!! He can’t seem to lose weight, often has fad, bad breath even though his dental hygiene is fine. But what really is a sign is when he eats bread, he sneezes, alot. Or when he drinks certain beers, he turns red around the eyes and sneezes. He’s finalky ready to look into this.
