Just because it’s October, doesn’t mean it’s too chilly for a milkshake, right?
Right.
Especially a sugar-free milkshake that tastes like pie.

The tartness from the limes makes this shake a refreshing, post-workout snack. I’ve had one almost every day this week!
Organic limes have been abundant at our local Trader Joe’s lately, so I have a feeling a lot more of these milkshakes are in my future, too.
Enjoy!
Yum! I have a Mojito Inspired Smoothie recipe on my blog which is similar to this but with mint and basil. So good!
Oooh, I bet the basil and mint additions are SO yummy!!
Great idea…you are so creative!! 🙂
i always think of putting avocado in my smoothie.. then i never do because i rather taste it then have in blended in a shake, so i always go with a frozen banana. but i really want to try the consistency! so i really just need to do it.. haha 🙂 looks delicious!
I’m just the opposite– I don’t love the taste of avocado, so I hide them in my shakes!! 😉 They do lend a nice, creamy texture to the shakes, too.
Just ran 5 miles, read this post, and then made the shake!! You’re right, so refreshing and I’m drinking it as I type this! =) thanks, Megan!
That’s awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. 😉
This sounds phenomenal! I will certainly be treating myself to one of these tomorrow after work. 🙂
Megan, I’ve been enjoying your blog for several weeks now and trying your recipes. They are all absolutely amazing! Even the ones I don’t particularly care for are easily tweaked to my liking.
Just wanted to let you know that your time and efforts are truly appreciated! I look forward every day to seeing what’s going on in Detoxinista-ville and more yummy detox friendly recipes to try. Keep ’em coming, they’re spectacular! I am making Millet Veggie Burgers this week to freeze as a matter of fact.
Thanks again.
Blessings to you and yours!
Thanks, Kelli! Your comment just made my day. 😀
Hope you enjoy those veggie burgers!
Hello! Ashleigh and I just made this and it was incredibly delicious! Like sucking up a piece of pie 🙂
Glad you girls enjoyed it!!
Um I definitely gave lil sis a colonic… hilarity ensued… and then we made one of these. high point.
Ha ha, I love you ladies. 😉
is almond milk neutral in combining? it barely has any protein, but it still contains nuts (obviously haha) 🙂
Yes, for our purposes almond milk can be considered neutral since ALL of the fiber is removed. Without the fiber, it shouldn’t affect the digestion of anything else you’re eating.
This is fabulous! I was skeptical about how it would taste but WOW! Even my husband was drinking it. You have a new fan. I’m going to try all of your recipes.
Love your website, Love your recipes. I use them, but as I busy mom of 4 I really humbly appreciate the printable versions. Bless you for bringing bliss to bellies.
I’m glad you pointed this out– I’m still trying to catch-up on updating my older recipes. It’s printable now! 🙂

I drank this shake all last summer. I have been craving this for two weeks…so tonight I couldn’t take it anymore, so I made it with romaine because I ran out of spinach! You can definitely taste the romaine, but it tastes refreshing!
Hi! This looks delicious, but I tend to get headaches from Stevia. Is there anything else you would recommend? Maybe honey?
I think honey would work great! Just add it to suit your tastes.
