Bestowed Box Giveaway!

There seems to be a cascade of new “healthy” products showing up on store shelves, but if you’re like me, you may be unaware or even skeptical of trying them.

That’s why the concept behind Bestowed is pretty interesting.

Created by nutritionist Heather Bauer, Bestowed is a monthly delivery service where members receive a box filled with 5 or more items that have been carefully selected by a team of health and diet experts. Each product is selected based on its ingredients, nutrition, and how it fits into an overall eating regimen, as well as where it’s made and the packaging it comes in. Brands cannot pay to be featured in these boxes, so you can feel good knowing that all products must meet these standards to be included.

In other words, these experts take some of the guess-work out of shopping for convenience products, and allow you to try some generous samples before committing to a full-size purchase.

Typically, I tend to stay away from buying convenience snacks, but there will inevitably be certain moments where I may need to rely on a quick, packaged food. For those situations, it’s helpful to be aware of the healthier options available! Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with the Bestowed box that arrived on my doorstep last month.

I always carry a small bag of raw almonds with me so I have a snack handy no matter where I am!

These boxes have become pretty popular these days. This one looks good. My favourite snack is fruit but a splurge would be raw chips. Raw beet chips have been my go-to snack lately.


    Love snacking on granola or almonds. Pinned this also!!


I really like this idea! I love bison jerky and dates stuffed with coconut butter and an almond..Mmmm:)


Packages of roasted chickpeas have saved me on more than one occasion.

Fruit is the ultimate convenience snack, right?!? Portable and (usually) easy to eat (except for the extra juicy ones!). I really love frozen grapes in the hot summer months!

I love the Go Raw, “Live Granola Bars”. That with a glass of water has gotten me through the long stretch between breakfast and lunch.


Never seen this particular subscription box! My go-to prepackaged snacks are Clif bars and sweet potato chips.

My go to snack is usually fruit. Blueberries, plums, apricots. Something small and sweet.


I’d have to say that nuts have been really helpful in tiding me over between meals, and now that peaches and apricots are coming into the store, I’ll reach for those, too. But have to admit – when I really need something crunchy and salty (if I have them on hand), I’ll occasionally eat some sweet potato chips that are gluten free and have only three ingredients that I can ID.


I love raw trail mix or raw nuts as a quick snack!


These look much more interesting than my regular snacks. Even so, I always love some raw almonds to go.


My favorite portable snack is dried/unsweetened mango!

I love KIND bars for a convenient on-the-go snack. Green and Black’s Organic dark chocolate is also a favorite when I need a chocolate fix!

My favorite snack is almond butter on a rice cake sprinkle some chia seeds & flax seeds. Topped with bananas and slight drizzle of honey

Oh goodness how exciting! I would say my favorite healthy snack would be carrots and hummus. So good!


There’s a bag of dried apricots in my purse right now, but I like to pre-make healthy, yummy, easy on-the-go snacks like oatmeal bars anf fat-free pumpkin muffins and store them in the freezer for those days when I need them.


Both my son and I love the fruit pouches and any kind of healthy bar. It’s easy to grab and go but still healthy!


I love Way Better Snacks Tortilla Chips, Black Bean. So yummy!
