When I began blogging a few years ago, I never dreamed that my little recipe blog would develop into the interactive and supportive community it has become today.
This website was originally intended to be my own personal recipe resource (a way to avoid storing hard-copies of my favorite recipes when we moved into a teeny-tiny Los Angeles apartment), but it also became an easy way to share healthy recipe ideas with my long-distance friends and family. Over the years, the number of friends and family has grown, and now includes all of you reading here today!
Which is why I’m so excited to share my news with you all, my virtual family.
I’m writing a cookbook!
I spoke with several publishers last year, and finally found the perfect home for my cookbook at Ten Speed Press, a division of Random House. It will feature loads of all-natural recipes that are family-friendly and easy to incorporate into an overall healthy lifestyle.
You may have noticed that I’ve posted a few pictures of recipes over the past few months, which I haven’t been able to share with you quite yet. It’s terribly difficult to keep them to myself, but I’m saving half of the recipes I develop for my book, and the other half for the blog.
Needless to say, things have been pretty busy over here!
While I finish writing the manuscript, I’d love to hear from YOU in the meantime. What recipes would you like to see in a healthy cookbook? Any other suggestions you’d like to share?
