I love baking around this time of the year. My family typically makes an array of cookies to share with our friends and neighbors, and now that we have a repertoire of healthy recipes that taste just as good as the traditional versions, no one will have to suffer from sugar crashes while celebrating the season!
Below, you’ll find my very favorite holiday cookie recipes.
—
These grain-free cookies are rich in chocolate flavor, and have a brownie-like texture that everyone is sure to love!
—
Ginger cookies are my favorite holiday cookie of all time, and this grain-free version does not disappoint! They are sweet, spicy and chewy, just the way I like them.
—
Sugar cookies are a classic holiday staple, and these are just as fun to cut out and decorate, without any refined flour or sugar.
—
Oatmeal Raisin cookies are a family favorite in my home, so this grain-free version is a hit every year!
—
5. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I’ve had a serious aversion to peanut butter since my pregnancy, but these are my husband’s very favorite cookies– so I’ll be making a batch for him to enjoy all by himself this year!
—
Made with just a handful of all-natural ingredients, these chocolate chip cookies are easy to prepare and will convert anyone who is skeptical about grain-free baking!
—
It took me quite a few attempts to get this recipe “just right,” but all of that work certainly paid off. These macaroons have a sweet and buttery flavor, and will melt in your mouth!
—
8. Coconut Flour Chocolate Chip Cookies
In case you prefer coconut flour over almond flour, I’ve got you covered– these coconut flour cookies are light and fluffy, with the perfect amount of sweetness.
—
Okay, so they aren’t technically cookies… but these pumpkin bars would make a delicious addition to any holiday cookie platter!
—
However you spend it, I hope you and your family enjoy this holiday season together!

Oh my word, i wan’t to make(and eat) all of these..lol! especially the blonde macaroons!!! I have a question unrelated to this post, do you think avocados and eggs are an okay food combination? it’s my favorite thing to eat eggs with so i probably won’t give that up, just wondering. I just started the food combining due to IBS and other gastro problems. i think it was mainly due to eating a lot of processed foods. Also eating fruit after a heavy meal always upset my stomach!
Yum! Thank you for this amazing menu of baked sweets! I already enjoy baking your double chocolate & peanut butter chocolate chip cookies & am thankful to be reminded to finally bake the others, as all but the Cinnamon Raisin Cookies (which I’ve somehow missed!) were already in my bookmarks folder!
Yes, I love to bake treats to share with others anytime I’m in the mood&have time!-Esp. your peanut butter chocolate chip blondies, Elana’s orange chocolate chip scones & apple bread with a sweet glaze made from greek yogurt & coconut oil!
I want THEM ALL! 🙂 I’m finally making some cookies this weekend to take home.
Cookies!!! I want coooookies, those macaroons look so good!
These all were AMAZING!!! Made for my niece who’s Celiac – big hit…I personally love the ginger ones 🙂
Girl mad props for making baking fun AND healthy – you’re a daily read for the Fleming House!!
Excited to find this list! Gonna have to pin it for after my 21day sugar detox starting on Monday 🙂 my heart’s desire this year is to gift more this year to people in our lives “just because”. This is a great list to work off of.
