When making upgrades in your diet and lifestyle, upgrading your cleaning products is the next logical step. I’ve posted about making my own cleaning spray before, but I just tried a new non-toxic option that I may like even more: steam cleaning.
The folks over at HAAN sent me their HAAN VeraSteam Pro BS20 to try out, which uses only pure water to steam clean all of the surfaces in your home. This turbo steam cleaner is 100% chemical free, sanitizing everything from floors, to counter tops, to toys and furniture, safely around your children and pets.
What I especially love about this particular steam mop is that it easily converts to a handheld steamer with just the touch of a button. This has been particularly helpful during our recent kitchen disaster– when the pipe above our kitchen ceiling burst two weeks ago, this steam cleaner was a serious help! I was able to sanitize our floors and counter tops quickly and easily, without the need for any sprays or chemicals.
According to their website, HAAN’s turbo steam cleaners use technology that kill 99.9% of germs, bacteria, and dust mites, cleaning your home and even helping to reduce indoor allergens. My steam cleaner came with several attachments, all of which have been utilized in our home over the past two weeks, including two machine-washable pads for cleaning smooth flooring, another attachment for carpeting, one for counter tops, and two options for detailed cleaning and brush cleaning. The handheld steam cleaner is so precise, I’ve even been able to clean nooks and crannies in my kitchen that I never thought possible!
This cleaner is also narrow and compact enough that it can be easily stored in a small space– which is very helpful when you live in a small apartment, like we do!

The folks at HAAN are sharing their steam cleaning power with you, too. They’re offering a HandiPro Portable Steam Cleaner to one lucky reader! This handy design makes it easy to sanitize any room in your home, while being lightweight and compact.

Disclaimer: HAAN sent me a complimentary steam cleaner pictured above, but I am under no obligation to post a positive review. As always, I will never promote products that I wouldn’t be happy to use in my own home.
