Sugar-Free Gingerbread Latte

‘Tis the season for frou-frou coffee drinks.

You know, the ones that have as many calories as a cheeseburger, and enough sugar to rival a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. SONY DSC

This is not one of those frou-frou drinks.

It just tastes like one.

To be honest, I’ve never had a ‘real’ one either, but now that you’ve posted this, I don’t really see the need to try anything else! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Megan

Thanks, Angela. I feel the same way! ๐Ÿ˜‰

ouhh! i’m going to pick up some molasses this weekend ๐Ÿ™‚ this looks so good!

I WANT to like gingerbread/molasses…I really do!…but I just can’t. I wonder what it is about that flavor that turns me off. Like if it’s some compound specifically contained in molasses. ::shrug::

I think straight-up molasses smells and tastes AWFUL, but it seems to add a richness to the rest of the spices in traditional gingerbread and molasses cookies that I absolutely LOVE! The extra-boost of iron and calcium doesn’t hurt, either. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love healthy warm fall drink recipes…thanks for sharing! I have some molasses that I need to start incorporating into recipes so this is perfect! Happy Weekend!

Absolutely Delicious looking! I must have it, i am in love with warm holiday drinks. I make my own for me without any of the heavy ingredients in much of the holiday food nowadays!

WOW!!! I LOVE specialty coffee but I hate the sick feeling it gives me with all the sugar and artificial ingredients. I Have tried your pumpkin spice latte and it is DELICIOUS!!!! AND I can drink it guilt free and feeling great! Now I am going to make this one today and it looks fantastic!!! Thanks for the recipe!

Zae

I love love love blackstrap molasses so I added a little more and just omitted the stevia. Super yummy!

Hi there! So I had Candida and I’ve been doing pretty much no sugar for about 2 weeks maybe longer. I got to a point where I wasn’t craving sugar at all and now all of the sudden I got these immense sugar cravings out of no where. It hit me like a stampede of horses!!! Weirdest thing….but do you have any advice/ recipes you can share with me to help me out before I end up with a spoon and a gallon tub of coconut ice cream? I would really appreciate you sharing your candida healing process and what happened to you. Thanks so much

Decided to give this a try as I wanted something but just not coffee or tea. I am so grateful I did. DELICIOUS! I normally don’t like those flavored latte’s at Starbucks etc..as I find them way too sweet. When I ask for less sweetener, I find I can taste chemicals. I am new to your website, but definitely think you deserve your own cookbook.

Love this! Best almond milk latte I have had so far, and I have been trying MANY recipes.
