Some days, green juice just doesn’t happen.
A warm cup of black coffee– with a teaspoon of coconut oil added– wins out on chilly, rainy mornings. I know it looks weird, but my brother turned me onto this idea of adding a healthy fat to your morning cup of coffee (he uses grass-fed butter and blends it in the Vitamix for a latte-effect), and it’s really satisfying!
Also, my lips feel nice and moisturized afterward. 😉
Goat cheese and Romaine “wraps.” I can eat a whole head of romaine lettuce this way, with mustard and raw goat cheese slices! I had a massage scheduled for the afternoon, so this was a nice light lunch beforehand.
This was a dumb idea. I took a couple squares of 100% dark chocolate with me to the movie theater– and gagged at my first bite. I don’t know why I thought I might enjoy this… I’ve been inching my dark chocolate percentage higher and higher lately, but it seems 88% dark chocolate is my sweet spot. That 12% of sweetness is important!!
Needless to say, I enjoyed a Bengal Spice tea “latte” when I got home.
