Sweet Orange Vinaigrette

Featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, this salad dressing is sure to brighten up any holiday feast.



  • One large orange
  • 2 Tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons honey , or stevia to taste
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


  1. Use a microplane, or grater, to zest the orange, making sure to grate only the orange rind and not the white pith, which can be bitter. Once the zest has been removed, juice the orange using a citrus press or reamer.
  2. Combine the fresh orange juice, zest, apple cider vinegar, garlic, honey and salt in a high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. Add in the olive oil, and blend again until completely emulsified.
  3. Adjust sweetness to taste, and allow to chill for 4 hours before serving.
