Healthy Instant Pot Recipes
Each and every recipe in the Fresh & Healthy Instant Pot Cookbook has the nutrition info listed right on the recipe, and there’s also a photo for every recipe (yay!!) so you’ll know exactly what each one should look like when you’re done. All of the recipes have a gluten-free option included and they are all made without refined sugar, too.
To make this book as useful as possible for the greatest number of people, I’ve included vegan options whenever possible, even when a recipe calls for meat. So, in the Protein-Packed Entrees chapter, I intentionally made all of the sauces vegan and included a tested vegan substitute to make sure everyone can enjoy these new recipes. Super-Fast & Easy Recipes + 3 weeks of Meal Plans
The recipes in No Excuses Detox have been developed with speed, convenience, and budget in mind. My hope is that this particular collection of recipes will leave you with “no excuse” to not eat well, because the recipes are as easy and affordable as possible, using only easily accessible whole food ingredients.
Just like my first book (below), all of the recipes in No Excuses Detox are properly combined and labeled to accommodate those with food allergies and special dietary restrictions. All of the recipes are gluten-free and vegetarian, and I’ve included tips to make many of the meals ahead of time, either in the freezer or in a slow cooker, so that you can stay on track even when you’re super busy.
Due to popular demand, I’ve included more main dish recipes in this book, including many that can be made in just 30 minutes from start-to-finish, or with only 15 minutes of hands-on preparation. I’ve even added an entire chapter dedicated to quick skillet meals, which are perfect for speedy weeknight dinners.
And because I know how challenging meal planning can be each week, No Excuses Detox has three full weeks of meal plans, including a Speedy Meal Plan featuring fast 30-minute meals and a Budget-Friendly Meal Plan that feeds you for less than $6 each day. Each meal plan includes a complete shopping list, too, so all of the planning is done for you!

Introduction to Food Combining + Properly Combined Recipes & Meal Plan
My first book, Everyday Detox, is a healthy guide to detoxing naturally all year round– no dieting, juice fasting, or calorie counting required. This book is packed with 100 easy (and properly combined!) recipes to help you lose weight, improve digestion, sleep better, and feel great.
I filled this book with recipes that I personally use on a daily basis– including my very favorite salad dressings, smoothies, entrees, and desserts. If you’ve taken a look at my What I Ate posts, you’ve probably noticed that I really do enjoy the recipes from this cookbook quite often!
All of the recipes in this book are gluten-free, and they are as easy and approachable as possible. I don’t know about you, but I won’t make a recipe if it has an overwhelming ingredient list. I also won’t use two types of flours in the same recipe, as many other gluten-free recipes do, and in this book I’ve avoided using any special thickeners, like arrowroot or tapioca starch.
Healthy living is supposed to make your life better, and a life without pizza, ice cream, or brownies just doesn’t sound like much fun to me! So, I’ve made it my mission to re-create some of my favorite comfort foods, using whole food ingredients to make them taste as decadent as possible. In this book, I’ve included recipes for cheesecake, lemon bars, brownies, cookies, pizza, coffee cake, pancakes, lasagna, pad thai, “beef” & broccoli, mac n’ cheese, ice cream, and more!
