To kick off the weekend, here are five things I think you might enjoy!
–
Grain-Free Coconut Muffins. I made mine using honey and lemon zest–> a perfect weekend treat!
–
Juice from this Breville Juicer–> which I recently purchased again. (Even though I have another juicer that I love.)
I realized that I am a very impatient person, and nothing beats the instant gratification of drinking your juice and having your juicer clean in less than 10 minutes. Just goes to show, the best juicer is whichever one you will actually USE often!

This article: 8 Reasons Why You Act Against Your Own Better Judgement.
Maybe that explains why I can’t stop eating these new cookies… and how half the batch has already disappeared. Whoops.
–
CocoCeps Sugar-Free Dark Hot Chocolate. I received a free sample with a recent order from iHerb, and found it to be delicious with a splash of almond milk and stevia! This blend includes Cordyceps and Reishi mushrooms, which are thought to promote energy and longevity– and you can’t taste them one bit.
–
If it’s too cold for an outdoor workout, I highly recommend trying a Physique 57 DVD! This particular one has been kicking my behind lately… in the best possible way.
I plan on visiting the studio this weekend for even a bigger challenge! Eek.

Hope you all have a good one!

Oh wow! I just listened to the Superfoods focus class for IIN on the weekend, and Liran Hirschkorn talked about reishi and cordyceps mushrooms. I didn’t know you could get them in hot chocolate form… now THAT is something I’d like to try! Happy weekend Megan!
What great timing!! Doesn’t hot chocolate sound like the perfect way to enjoy those mushrooms?
I’ve been so curious about the CocoCeps and now I HAVE to try the chocolate version…*wanders off to iherb*…
I know what you mean about instant gratification. My “buy now” button on Amazon started to be clicked a lot more now that I have a Kindle. Have a great weekend!
This is exactly why I shouldn’t own a Kindle– Amazon already gets enough of my money as it is!! LOL
Hi, I just recently found you blog and I already have a long list of recipes to try. I am very interested in the idea of food combining. So, I was wondering about baked goods with eggs and honey. Is this a correct food combination? Thanks!
No, the baked goods that combine coconut flour or almond butter with eggs are not properly combined– but they do make an excellent “treat.”
I also find them to be a huge improvement over traditional baked goods, making them a great tool for transitioning towards a healthier lifestyle!
Hi Megan
Wondering which cookie recipe those cookies are from?
I haven’t posted the recipe for those yet.
Coming soon, though!
I am going to buy new juicer too, angel juicer, I do have breville one too, but want better for better juice
You inspire me a lot in juicing so thank you for that
I love juicing, but you’re right I don’t do it as uch because my juicer is such a pain to clean!!! I’m attending a Pilates training this weekend! So much fun, but I”m already sore!
Yay!! You got CocoCeps!! I love it! and I love iherb, it’s THE BESSSSST!! xo
